Until now I have written a fairly vague, chatty monthly newsletter for the Gardening Leave website but if you, the Friends of GL are going to tell new people about our work, we need to keep you informed of our plans, our progress and our achievements – you are our precious ambassadors and we cherish you!!
To that end, my monthly newsletters will now have more detail in them and will only appear on the Friends website; Pamela will write future Auchincruive newsletters which will cover the activity in the garden as at other GL sites.
By the end of November, I will be reporting to you about our recent Trustees Meeting; meetings re veterans’ housing schemes UK wide; briefing events at GL Chelsea to mark the end of our first year; Volunteers training days; Remembrance at GL; meetings with politicians, speaking engagements and conferences.
